Mental Health for Managers

Managers, competent and confident in supporting the mental health of their teams, are vital in today’s world. This course gives them the knowledge and skills to spot the signs and symptoms of poor mental health and provide initial support.

Training managers to carry out well-being assessments which empower their teams to make positive changes to improve their mental health whilst increasing engagement and reducing sickness absence, ensuring your company meets the HSE requirements for managing mental health in the workplace.

For up to 12 managers, this one-day course can be delivered in-house or online.

Mental Health Champion Training

Training a cross-section of your workforce in mental health support allows your teams to share their concerns when they can’t talk to their manager.

This course covers the emotional, behavioural and physical signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions and provides a ‘how to support’ section.

Delegates leave the course with a complete understanding of each condition, what can cause them and how to initially support and signpost a team member.

For up to 12 people, this one-day course is delivered in-house or online.

Well-being Assessments

Here, at NO TIME LIKE NOW, we understand that sometimes smaller companies don’t have the resources to provide mental health support in the workplace. Working with us means that you don’t have to! And you still benefit from increasing staff engagement whilst reducing sickness absences and meeting the HSE requirements for managing mental health in the workplace.

We meet with each team member and carry out the assessment, providing you with a RAG-rated scorecard, identifying key areas for improvement, and an action plan that assists you in making any changes required to impact your team’s mental health positively.

Resilience/Stress Management Workshops

Providing your team with the tools and techniques to manage their mental health effectively increases staff engagement and reduces sickness absences.

Empowering your team to recognise the signs of stress means they can take action to reduce it quickly. Your team leave this interactive workshop with a toolbox of techniques proven to reduce stress and increase resilience.

For up to 12 people, this workshop is available as a ½ day or full day and is delivered in-house or online.

Menopause Workshops

Having a menopause policy in place is a positive start in demonstrating to your team that you understand the issues they may be facing and are willing to support them. With this workshop, you can go one step further and provide your team with the knowledge and skills to navigate through this period of their lives.

This workshop covers the signs and symptoms of menopause and peri-menopause, HRT and supplements and techniques for managing symptoms, relaxation and building a positive mindset.

This ½ day workshop is delivered in-house or online for up to 12 people.

One-to-One Support

There are times when your team might need additional support. Maybe their stress levels have been too high for too long, or they suffer from anxiety or depression.

One-to-one sessions provide your team member with the support they need to overcome their issues, using dynamic techniques to improve their mental health and recover from illness.

These sessions are available face-to-face or online.
